Toyota (TM): Exporting From America? (GM)(F)

Batmobile512_2It is a Category 5 irony that Toyota (TM) may be faced with exporting cars it makes in the US to other countries. It initially conquered the small car market in the America by importing vehicles made inexpensively in Japan.

But, with bloated inventories of SUVs and pick-ups leading to idle plant capacity, Toyota may be sending cars overseas.

Sending inventory off-shore is only part of the plan at the world’s largest car company. It may also cut head count. According to Reuters, Toyota could also cut more temporary U.S. manufacturing jobs if the downturn in the U.S. auto industry deepens."

Cars it can’t sell and lay-offs. Toyota is looking more like GM (GM) and Ford (F) every day.
