Boeing Raising Up to $5 Billion (BA)

Boeing_plane_logoThe Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) has filed for a shelf registration to allow its Boeing Capital Corporation unit to raise up to $5,000,000,000.00 ($ billion) via the sale of debt securities.

The use of funds for this sale are listed as follows:

  • to purchase equipment for leases, to make loans and to fund other investments;
  • to fund the acquisition of businesses and parts of businesses;
  • for other general corporate purposes such as reducing indebtedness,including indebtedness we may owe from time to time to Boeing or otheraffiliates.

No underwriters were formally named in this shelf filing.
