Berkshire Hathaway & Warren Buffett Add More Wells Fargo Shares (BRK-A, BRK-B, WFC)

We took a look through more of the earnings data from the Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK-A; BRK-B) annual meeting this morning and there was one key change in the stock holdings. We detailed Buffett’s full holdings most recently and we should have an update to that within about two weeks or so. The standout position change that Berkshire Hathaway gave an update to was in Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC). Warren Buffett said this was his favorite bank long ago, and he keeps putting his money where his mouth is.
Buffett grew his holdings in Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) yet again and that position was reported as now being some 358,936,125 shares… This means that he again grew his holdings even from the end of 2010 as he recorded that figure as more than 342 million shares and it was over 336 million at the end of Q3-2010.
Wells Fargo was the only change noted in the earnings release given at the annual meeting today. There are likely more changes that were made, but this was the one that the firm chose to disclose.
