Best Car Deals for the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend

Chrysler 300 2014
Chrysler Group LLC
The editors at Kelley Blue Book (KBB) have put together a list of the best lease and purchase deals available for the month of May and the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Three significant cash-back offers and seven leasing deals stand out from the crowd.

The best deal, according to KBB, is a cash-back deal on a 2014 Chrysler 300. The company is offering $3,250 cash against an MSRP of $31,890. A buyer who applies the cash as a down payment would make 60 monthly payments of $483, according to KBB.

The second-best deal is a 36-month lease on a 2014 Nissan Altima with an MSRP of $23,500. After a cash payment of $1,999, the monthly payment would be $189.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) is offering a 24-month lease on a 2014 Ford Flex crossover for a cash payment of $3,795 and monthly payments of $189.

Chrysler is offering a 36-month lease on a 2014 Ram Quad Cab pickup for a cash payment of $3,129 and monthly payments of $229.

A 2014 Infiniti Q60 with a sticker price of $41,755 is available for a 39-month lease with a cash payment of $3,849 and monthly payments of $299.

Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE: TM) is offering a 2014 Prius plug-in that carries an MSRP of $30,800 on a 36-month lease with a cash payment of $999 and monthly payments of $279.

Ford’s 2014 Expedition full-size SUV is being offered with a cash-back deal of $5,000 against an MSRP of $43,170 and 60 monthly payments of $650.

A 2013 Nissan Leaf electric vehicle is available on a 36-month lease for a cash payment of $1,999 and monthly payments of $199.

Fiat is selling its Fiat 500 with a cash-back offer of $2,000 against an MSRP of $18,300 and 60 monthly payments of $275.

A 2014 Volvo S60 sports sedan is available on a 24-month lease for a cash payment of $1,884 and monthly payments of $259.

General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) did not have any vehicles in KBB’s top ten holiday weekend deals. Clearly the company is feeling a bit pinched following its latest recalls and may be testing whether it can still command full price for its vehicles. KBB also noted that dealers are beginning to make room for the 2015 models that will soon be appearing on their lots.
