CVR Energy Inc is a diversified company based in Sugar Land, Texas, specializing in petroleum refining and nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing. With operations primarily in the United States, it operates two main segments. The Petroleum segment offers a range of refined products including gasoline and diesel fuel, operating refineries in Kansas and Oklahoma. The Nitrogen Fertilizer segment produces and markets nitrogen-based fertilizers to agricultural and industrial customers. Founded in 1906, CVR Energy is part of the Icahn Enterprises L.P. family.
