Asian Markets 12/22/2006 Honda, China Netcom Up, Yahoo Japan Down

Markets in Asia were up slightly.
The Nikkei rose .3% to 17,105. Canon was up .5% to 6690. Fuji Film was down 1% to 4870/ Hitachi was up .3% to 722. Honda was up 2.2% to 4570. NEC down .4% to 567. NTT was down .2% to 592. Softbank was down .2% to 2440. Sony was down .2% to 5080. Toyota was up 1.5% to 7800. Yahoo Japan was down 2% to 49100.
The Hang Seng was up /5% to 19,321. China Mobile was up 2.1% to 64. China Netcom was up 2.5% to 19.46. China Unicom was up .6% to 10.56. HSBC was down .4% to 141.6. PCCW was flat at 4.71.
The KOSPI was up .1% to 1,437.
The Straits Times was up .7% to 2,942.
The Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,343.
