Markets in Europe are up slightly at 6.05 AM New York time.

The FTSE rose .2% to 6,367. Barclays is up .5% to 770. BP is down .6% to 529. BT is up .1% to 319. GlaxoSmithKline is up .4% to 1466. Prudential is up .4% to 714.5. Reuters is up .3% to 432. Unilever is up .7% to 1374. Vodafone is up .5% to 152.

The DAXX is up .2% to 6,872. Bayer is up .8% to 45.3. DaimlerChrysler is down .6% to 48.87. DeutscheBank is up .2% to 105.99. Deutsche Telekom is down .4% to 13.69. SAP is up .6% to 36.02. Siemens is up .9% to 83.5.

The CAC 40 is up .2% to 5,656. Alcatel-Lucent is flat at 10.06. AXA is up .6% to 32.52. France Telecom is up .5% to 21.41. ST Micro is up .3% to 14.57. Vivendi is up .6% to 31.32.
