Markets in Europe rose at 6.30 AM New York time.

The FTSE was up .4% to 6,534. Barclays (BCS) rose 4.6% to 628.5. BP (BP) was down 1.2% to 559.

The DAXX rose .5% to 7,963. Deutsche Bank (DB) rose 2.3% to 93.25. SAP (SAP) fell .6% to 41.17.

The CAC 40 was up .8% to 5,817. Cap Gemini rose 3.7% to 45.89. BNP Paribas rose 3.5% to 80.66.
