Markets in Asia were mostly higher.
The Nikkei rose 2.8% to 13,688. Canon (CAJ) was up 3.3% to 4990. Nomura was up 3.7% to 1713.
The Hang Seng rose .1% to 23,623. China Mobile (CHL) was up 1% to 117.2. China Petroleum (SNP) was off 1.2% to 8.61.
The Shanghai Composite fell .9% to 4,527.
