Swiss commodity trader Glencore bought back its Prodeco coal operations in Colombia from mining group Xstrata and is looking for partners to provide funds. (Reuters)

Jupiter Asset Management may file an IPO in the UK (FT).

Fannie Mae (FNM) and Freddie Mac (FRE) may ask force banks to buy back some home mortgages. The list of firms impacted would include Citigroup (C), Wells Fargo (WFC), JPMorgan (JPM), and Bank of America (BAC) (Bloomberg)
