American International Group (NYSE: AIG) is now within $1.30 of recent highs on cleaning up its Goldman Sachs mortgage insurance exposure for a significant charge.
Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST) is the top NASDAQ gainer this morning.
Palm Inc. (NASDAQ: PALM) is up over 8% again on buyout talk, although this after reports of a Goldman Sachs hire.
DynCorp International Inc. (NYSE: DCP) has received almost a 50% premium in a buyout offer. Some holders still won’t be made whole here.
Boots & Coots, Inc. (AMEX: WEL) is up over 25% after it has also received a buyout.
National Bank of Greece SA (NYSE: NBG) is up again by about 3% on the Greek bailout, although softer than last week’s late gains.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTIC) is up again by 2.7% at $0.642 on almost 500,000 shares after its weekend update.
