Chip stocks are almost all trading higher this morning after Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) and Linear Technology Corp. (NASDAQ: LLTC) beat earnings and showed solid comments for expectations ahead; Semiconductor HOLDRs (NYSE: SMH) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: KLIC) is a chip cap-ex play.  It also gave solid earnings and raised guidance; shares are up over 20% at $9.50 versus a prior 52-week range of $3.00 to $8.23 on over 200,000 shares.

Mosaic Co. (NYSE: MOS) and Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (NYSE: POT) are both down over 2% after Goldman Sachs cut their ratings to Neutral. POTASH SUMMARY at VSInvestor.
