BP Isn't Obama's Crisis, Katrina Shouldn't Have Been Bush's

It doesn’t require a law degree to understand that all the bashing of President Obama over BP, much like President Bush was criticized for Hurricane Katrina, is a peversion of the Constitution and federal powers.  Obama is suffering negative commentary from left, right and center over his handling of BP despite a Constitution that is explicit about the limits of federal activity.  Nowhere does the Constitution authorize the cleaning up of oil spills.
