Warren Buffett Lunch Sells For $2.63 Million On Ebay

Warren Buffett’s annual auction, the prize of which is to have lunch with the Oracle of Omaha, sold for $2.63 million on Ebay (NASDAQ: EBAY). According to Reuters, “Proceeds benefit the Glide Foundation, a San Francisco non-profit organization offering meals, healthcare, child care, housing and job training for the poor and homeless.”

The highest bid jumped from $1.5 million on the next to last day to the $2.63 million final offer. The auction began last Sunday.

The identity of the winning bidder what not disclosed. The action has gone on for ten years and has raised $5.9 million.
