Avanir Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: AVNR) is up nearly 7% after having a drug used to treat neurological disorders approved by the FDA. At $5.11, the stock is close to its 52-week high of $5.80.
National Bank of Greece (NYSE: NBG) is up 2% in light trading after some PM Papandreou’s decision not to call early elections.
SIGA technologies (NASDAQ: SIGA) is down more than 20% after the small business association revoked its status as a small business, making it ineligible for a desired government contract. Shares are trading at $10.52, relative to a 52-week range of $4.83-$14.38.
GT Solar International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOLR) is making major gains premarket after the company announced that they would repurchase more than 25 million shares from investors. SOLR is up nearly 12% on average volume.
Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) is up marginally again on hopes of a deal with AOL. Shares are at $16.51, up 1.51%, On moderate volume.
