Donald Trump For President?

The world of business and politics has had very few times where the two were as against each other as they are today.  Who will run under the Republican ticket in 2012 is still  unknown.  There is a new name that may be all over the news tonight and tomorrow, one which everyone knows very well.  DONALD TRUMP!  Yes, really.  Or, ‘Yes, really, maybe.’

Trump surprisingly said today on a CNBC interview ahead of his debut of the CNBC TITANS debut tonight that he was considering running for office for the first time, but when asked which office he answered that there is only one office… “President.”  In a brief CNBC interview around 1:30 PM EST on Wednesday, Trump told the CNBC anchors, “For the first time in my life, I am considering it.” After being asked a second time if he was really considering running, Trump said yes.

Is he for real?  Maybe.  Donald Trump is perhaps one of the biggest names in American business because of his aggressive self-promotion. But he probably really believes he should be president.

Take our open and anonymous poll to help see if “The Donald” has a shot at moving into the White House.  In order to avoid any skewed “maybe”or “undecided” answers, we are  giving two choices: Trump or Obama.

Oddly enough, the domain names Trump2012.com and Trumpforpresident.com are both already taken. Trump2012.com was created back on December 16, 2004 and the record does not expire until 2014; Trumpforpresident.com was created on July 21, 2007 and expires on the same day in 2011.
