They say there is an ETF for everything. Now comes the launch by First Trust Advisors L.P. for a Smartphone ETF. The First Trust NASDAQ CEA Smartphone Index Fund (NASDAQ: FONE) offers investors a way to gain exposure to the various hardware manufacturers, operating system providers, chip makers, software manufacturers and service providers.
The Fund is meant to track an equity index called the NASDAQ OMX CEA Smartphone Index. Here are some of the components:
