Another stock that jumped on the last day of the week was Clorox Corp (NYSE: CLX) which received a takeover offer from Carl Icahn.
Two food companies showed modest gains: General Mills Inc. (NYSE: GIS) and YUM! Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM). And, two retailer moved higher, but with little conviction: Kohl’s Corp (NYSE: KSS) and Safeway Inc (NYSE: SWI)
