Research in Motion Ltd. (NASDAQ: RIMM) can use all the help it can get, and there is a rumor that the new Blackberry smartphones will run Android apps from Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG).

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) may be bundling a huge lineup of the top 5 games to sell more Xbox 360 units… But it may just be in Canada.

Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S) is still rumored to get the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone.

Ben Bernanke is reportedly now not going to use the Jackson Hole speech on Friday to bolster the economy in Jackson Hole.

Embraer SA (NYSE: ERJ) in Brazil may be the loser as Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) wins the order for 100 planes from Delta Airlines Inc. (NYSE: DAL).  The smaller Embraer jet order may be pushed out to next year.

Bank of America Corporation (NYSE: BAC) has yesterday, with reports continuing today, denied any and all rumors of any sort of rumor about a J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) merger; the bank has also repeatedly denied any need of new capital rumors.

NYSE Euronext Inc. (NYSE: NYX) is reportedly one step closer to getting its Deutsche Boerse merger approved, but shares are down 1% so far this morning.

SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) is down again with gold, in part on more chatter that John Paulson’s hedge fund is down big again in August and is selling gold to raise cash and to lock in big profits.
