Cruise line operator Carnival Corp. (NYSE: CCL) has offered a payment of $14,460 to uninjured passengers of the wrecked Costa Concordia cruise ship. The number of passengers receiving the offer is around 3,200.
The offer has not been extended the ship’s crew or about 100 passengers or their families who were either injured or killed when the ship ran aground.
Uninjured passengers may choose to ignore the offer and pursue separate legal action.
Carnival shares are up about 0.80% at $30.72 this morning.
