Manchester United Prices Below IPO Range

All Manchester United will get for its shares is $14 per. Under the terms of the offering, 16.7 million shares will be offered. Just yesterday, the price range forecast was between $16 to $20.

The balance of the debate about MANU shares is that they are worth much less than the firm’s bankers and owners the Glazer family believe. It has engendered no confidence that the money from the IPO will go to the family and debt repayment. The soccer club itself, can do without the cash. With what it claims are 600 million fans worldwide and the Chevy emblem on their uniforms, paid for by GM, the team’s value is great than any other sports organization in the world–at least according to Forbes.

So, it was the notion of Glazer greed against 600 million fans. The $14 tells who the winner is.
