Research In Motion Judgment Reversed

The dismal fate of Research In Motion Ltd. (NASDAQ: RIMM) became a little less dismal, at least for a day. A U.S. federal judge, according to Reuters:

… ruled the company had not infringed on Mformation Technologies Inc’s patent and overturned an award of $147.2 million that a jury said the Canadian firm should pay.
