Facebook, Molycorp Join '52-Week Low' Club

Today’s 52-week low club, the third in 24/7 Wall St. history, includes a repeat guest and a newcomer. Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) also hit a 52-week low Friday, but we decided it was time to invite some other companies to join in on the fun.

Here are Friday’s members of the 52-week low club:

Shares of Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) fell 4.13% to $19.05 on trading volume of 115.9 million shares. The company’s shares have dropped since Thursday following the ending of the lockup period following its IPO. The 52-week low before Friday was $19.69.

Shares of Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) fell 11.83% to $9.84 on trading volume of 32.4 million shares. The company publicly offered $480 million in stock and debt Friday, which the company said was necessary to finance its capital expenses and operations throughout the year. Before Friday, the 52-week low was $11.00.

Are You Still Paying With a Debit Card?

The average American spends $17,274 on debit cards a year, and it’s a HUGE mistake. First, debit cards don’t have the same fraud protections as credit cards. Once your money is gone, it’s gone. But more importantly you can actually get something back from this spending every time you swipe.

Issuers are handing out wild bonuses right now. With some you can earn up to 5% back on every purchase. That’s like getting a 5% discount on everything you buy!

Our top pick is kind of hard to imagine. Not only does it pay up to 5% back, it also includes a $200 cash back reward in the first six months, a 0% intro APR, and…. $0 annual fee. It’s quite literally free money for any one that uses a card regularly. Click here to learn more!
