Caesars, Polypore Join '52-week Low Club'

Shares of Caesars Entertainment Corporation (NASADAQ: CZR) fell 6.15% to close at $7.32 on trading volume of 595,000 shares. Standard & Poor’s has downgraded the company’s rating from stable to negative, but reaffirmed its B- credit rating. Before Tuesday, the 52-week low was $7.77.

Shares of Polypore International Inc. (NYSE: PPO) fell 7.65% to $31.39 on trading volume of 3.3 million shares. The company shares fell on news that General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) planned to end production of the Chevrolet Volt. Polypore makes the car’s lithium battery separators. Shares touched a low of $30.62 earlier in the trading day, under the previous low of $30.95.
