October 24, 2014: Here are four stocks among the 49 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) dropped about 9.3% today to post a new 52-week low of $284.00. The stock’s 52-week high is $408.060. Amazon reported earnings — er, losses actually — after markets closed last night. Our thoughts on Amazon’s business model have not changed. Trading volume is more than 4-times the daily average of around 3.7 million shares traded.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) dropped about 7.7% on Friday to a new 52-week low of $31.01 after closing at $33.61 on Thursday evening. Share volume is 40% higher than the daily average of around 2.2 million. The teen retailer was downgraded to Sell at Goldman and to Market Perform at BMO Capital Markets this morning. Goldman also cut its price target to $27 a share.

Pandora Media Inc. (NYSE: P) posted a drop of more than 16% today to post a new 52-week low of $19.35 against a 52-week high of $40.44. Volume is nearly 4-times the daily average of around 6.8 million shares. The Internet music streaming company posted inline results last night, but growth is slowing and Apple is looming.

Southwestern Energy Co. (NYSE: SWN) sank to a new 52-week low on Friday of $31.28. Based on Thursday night’s closing price of $33.25 that’s a drop of about 5.9%. The stock’s 52-week high is $49.16. Trading volume is about 65% higher than the daily average of around 5.1 million shares. The oil and gas producer did not meet Street estimates when it reported results after markets closed last night.
