January 12, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 195 equities making new 52-week lows today.

AK Steel Holding Corp. (NYSE: AKS) posted a new 52-week low on Monday of $4.62. Based on Friday night’s closing price of $5.40 that’s a drop of more than 14%. The stock’s 52-week high is $11.37. Volume is 65% higher than the daily average of around 12.4 million shares. The company’s stock tumbled on news of a slowdown in Chinese demand.

Goodrich Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: GDP) dropped about 13% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $2.82. The stock’s 52-week high is $30.52. Volume was 25% below the daily average of around 3.1 million shares. The independent oil & gas company was hit by today’s drop in crude prices.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) dropped about 1.7% on Monday to post a new 52-week — and all-time — low of $487.56 for the Class C shares after closing at $16.45 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $604.83. Share volume is about equal to the daily average of around 2 million shares traded. The company’s stock was downgraded from Overweight to Neutral at Atlantic Equities.

Weatherford International plc (NYSE: WFT) dropped 9.1% on Monday to establish a new 52-week low at $9.66 against a high of $24.88. Volume was equal to the daily average of around 11.6 million shares. As oil prices fall they drag oilfield services companies like Weatherford along for the ride.
