January 26, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 108 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR) posted a new 52-week low on Monday of $57.53. Based on Friday night’s closing price of $58.12 that’s a drop of about 1%. The stock’s 52-week high is $69.94. Volume is about 30% above the daily average of around 4.2 million shares. The company said today the currency exchange rates and fewer orders would have a negative impact of 4% to 5% on fiscal first quarter sales.

Mattel Inc. (NASDAQ: MAT) dropped more than 11% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $24.88. The stock’s 52-week high is $43.43. Volume was was more than 5-times higher than the daily average of 4.2 million shares. The toymaker’s CEO resigned this morning and the company warned on quarterly earnings.

Weight Watchers International Inc. (NYSE: WTW) dropped about 2.9% on Monday to establish a new 52-week low at $16.80 against a high of $31.40. Volume was about 40% below the daily average of around 900,000 shares. The nutrition company had no specific news today.

United States Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) dropped another 2.2% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $20.13 after closing at $20.58 on Friday when the stock dropped about 9% to set another low. The stock’s 52-week high is $46.55. Share volume was about 40% above the daily average of around 7.5 million shares traded. The company was just one steelmaker to post a new low today, but the shares have been trailing downward on forecast cuts to iron ore demand.
