March 5, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 82 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Abercrombie & Fitch Inc. (NYSE: ANF) posted a new 52-week low on Thursday. Shares dropped about 4.6% to $19.34 from Wednesday’s closing price of $20.27. The stock’s 52-week high is $45.50. Volume is more than 5-times above the daily average of around 2.7 million shares. The specialty teen retailer reported poor quarterly results yesterday and the stock was downgraded at Nomura today.

Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK) dropped about 2.7% on Thursday to establish a new 52-week low at $15.07 against a high of $29.92. Volume was nearly about 25% above the daily average of around 16.4 million shares. The oil & gas company had no specific news today.

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LL) dropped about 7% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $33.12 after closing at $35.64 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $108.40. Share volume was more than 5-times the daily average of around 2 million shares traded. The wood flooring retailer had no specific news today, but the week has been nothing but bad news and shares continue to drop.

Vale Inc. (NYSE: VALE) dropped about 6.3% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $6.45 after closing at $6.88 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $15.59. Share volume was about 25% above the daily average of around 29 million shares traded. The mining company had no specific news today, but headlines describing more investigations into political activities are creating more uncertainty about the Brazilian government’s stability.
