Volume is about 20% higher than the daily average of around 6.5 million shares. The oilfield equipment company continues to post share price declines as the price of oil dips again.
Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUG) dropped 12% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $2.42 after closing at $2.75 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $8.48. Share volume approached 2-times the daily average of around 4.6 million shares traded. The alternative fuel company posted a wider-than-expected fourth quarter loss this morning.
