The 52-Week Low Club for Wednesday

April 15, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 19 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Annaly Capital Management Inc. (NYSE: NLY) dropped about 0.4% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $10.28 against a high of $11.95. The stock closed at $10.32 on Tuesday night. Volume was more than 40% below the daily average of around 8 million shares. The company had no specific news today.

Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: KORS) dropped about 0.5% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $62.65 after closing at $62.94 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $98.96. Share volume was about 25% below the daily average of around 3.4 million shares traded. The apparel company had no specific news today.

Sonus Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: SONS) dropped another 0.5% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $7.50 after closing at $7.54 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $21.25. Share volume totaled about 50% above the daily average of around 1.2 million shares traded. The company was hit last week with class-action lawsuits after it cut its outlook.

Shaw Communications Inc. (NYSE: SJR) also posted a new 52-week low on Wednesday. Shares dropped about 3.3% to $21.74 from Tuesday’s closing price of $22.49. The stock’s 52-week high is $27.47. Volume is about double the daily average of around 480,000 shares. The company missed earnings estimates this morning.
