April 16, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 16 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Annaly Capital Management Inc. (NYSE: NLY) dropped about 0.5% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $10.21 against a high of $11.95. The stock closed at $10.26 on Wednesday night. Volume was more than 40% below the daily average of around 8 million shares. The company had no specific news again today, but this is the second consecutive day that shares have dipped to a new low.

RCS Capital Corp. (NYSE: RCAP) dropped about 3.9% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $8.54 after closing at $8.89 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $37.56. Share volume was more than double the daily average of around 800,000 shares traded. The brokerage firm had no specific news today.

ForceField Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: FNRG) dropped about 25% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $4.53 after closing at $6.05 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $7.84. Share volume totaled more than 10-times the daily average of around 95,000 shares traded. The company was hit yesterday by a report from MoxReports related to paid stock promotion and connections to past fraudulent activity.

MaxPoint Interactive Inc (NYSE: MXPT) also posted a new 52-week low on Thursday. Shares dropped about 6% to $7.53 from Wednesday’s closing price of $8.00. The stock’s 52-week high is $11.24. Volume is about double the daily average of around 480,000 shares. The digital ad company’s stock has dropped more than 28% since it’s early March IPO.
