Volume is nearly double the daily average of around 2.6 million shares. The 3D-printer maker lowered guidance last week and analysts were downgrading the stock today.
Windstream Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: WIN) dropped nearly 18% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $10.09 after closing at $12.26 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $13.30. Share volume was 70% above the daily average of around 10 million shares traded. The company completed a spin-off of its communications Sales & Leasing business, and no one seems to be sure what the remaining company is worth.
Aerie Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: AERI) dropped more than 18% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $10.52 after closing at $12.87 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $35.89. Share volume was more than 8-times the daily average of around 660,000 shares traded. The drug company reported an unsuccessful drug trial last week, and the carnage continues.
