July 2, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 135 equities making new 52-week lows today.

A reminder: U.S. markets will be closed Friday, July 3, for the Independence Day observance.

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. (NYSE: CLF) posted a new 52-week low on Thursday. Shares dropped about 11.9% to a low of $3.71 from Wednesday’s closing price of $4.21. The stock’s 52-week high is $18.41. Volume totaled nearly 14 million shares, about 75% higher than the stock’s daily average of around 9.4 million. The company had no specific news today, but long-standing weakness in the iron ore business is not improving.

AK Steel Holding Corp. (NYSE: AKS) dropped more than 8% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $3.50 against a 52-week high of $11.37. The stock closed at $3.81 on Wednesday night. Volume totaled nearly 12 million shares, about 35% above the daily average of almost 8.7 million. The steelmaking firm had no specific news today.

BlackBerry Ltd. (NASDAQ: BBRY) dropped about 2.2% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low at $7.84 after closing at $8.02 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $12.63. Share volume totaled around 10 million, about 15% above the daily average of around 8.3 million shares traded. The company had no specific news today.

Yelp Inc. (NYSE: YELP) dropped about 15% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $36.10 after closing at $42.44 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $86.88. Share volume totaled around 10.5 million shares, more than double the daily average of around 4.1 million. Shares were halted briefly today on news that the company has suspended its search for a buyer.
