July 10, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 85 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S) posted a new 52-week low on Friday. Shares dropped about 4% to a low of $3.74 from Thursday’s closing price of $3.90. The stock’s 52-week high is $8.68. Volume totaled more than 27 million shares, nearly double the stock’s daily average of around 14 million. The company had no specific news today.

Encana Corp. (NYSE: ECA) dropped about 4.5% on Friday to post a new 52-week low at $9.60 after closing at $10.05 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $23.41. Share volume totaled around 9 million, about 20% above the daily average of around 7.4 million shares traded. Weak crude oil prices have plagued Encana, and today’s news that drilling rig counts increased for the second consecutive week did not do anything to help either crude prices or Encana.

Zillow Inc. (NASDAQ: Z) dropped almost 9% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $77.62 after closing at $85.26 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $164.90. Share volume totaled more than 6 million shares, more than 3-times the daily average of around 1.8 million. The company’s CFO announced yesterday that he is resigning effective on August 7th.

Yamana Gold Inc. (NYSE: AUY) dropped about 4.2% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $2.71 against a 52-week high of $9.04. The stock closed at $2.83 on Thursday night. Volume totaled nearly 6 million shares, about 20% below the daily average of around 7.5 million. Gold prices are stalled well below $1,200 an ounce, and Yamana has been among the hardest hit.
