July 20, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 283 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Barrick Gold Corp. (NYSE: ABX) dropped about 16% on Monday to post a new 52-week low at $7.39 after closing at $8.79 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $19.36. Share volume totaled around 43 million, nearly 4-times the daily average of around 11.6 million shares traded. The company had no specific news today, but gold settled at a second consecutive 5-year low today, and shows no sign of slowing its tumble.

eBay Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY) dropped about 4.7% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $26.59 after closing at $27.90 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $66.71. Share volume totaled over 32 million shares, well over 3-times the daily average of around 9 million. The spin-off of the company’s PayPal business was completed today.

WPX Energy Inc. (NYSE: WPX) posted a new 52-week low on Monday. Shares dropped about 6.9% to a low of $9.04 from Friday’s closing price of $9.71. The stock’s 52-week high is $26.79. Volume totaled around 18 million shares, more than 3-times the stock’s daily average of around 5.6 million. The energy producer priced a secondary share offering and a convertible stock offering last Friday and is still getting beaten up over it.

Transocean Ltd. (NYSE: RIG) dropped about 2.3% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $13.17 against a 52-week high of $44.45. The stock closed at $13.48 on Friday night. Volume totaled nearly 11 million shares, about equal to the daily average of 11.5million. The company had no specific news today.
