July 21, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 206 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK) dropped about 8.5% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low at $9.40 after closing at $10.27 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $27.97. Share volume totaled more than 38 million, approaching double the daily average of around 22 million shares traded. The company announced today that it is cancelling its $0.35 annual dividend.

Intel Corp. (NASDAQ: INTC) dropped about 1.5% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $28.67 after closing at $29.10 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $37.90. Share volume totaled over 32 million shares, about 10% above the daily average of around 30 million. The chipmaker had no specific news today.

Alcoa Inc. (NYSE: AA) posted a new 52-week low on Tuesday. Shares dropped about 0.4% to a low of $10.16from Monday’s closing price of $10.20. The stock’s 52-week high is $17.75. Volume totaled around 21 million shares, about 10% above the stock’s daily average of around 19 million. The aluminum producer had no specific news today.

EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC) dropped about 0.7% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $24.80 against a 52-week high of $30.92. The stock closed at $24.98 on Monday night. Volume totaled nearly 11 million shares, about 15% below the daily average of 13.4 million. The company is scheduled to report earnings before markets open Wednesday morning.
