Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) dropped about 10.7% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $76.00 against a 52-week high of $110.60. The stock closed at $85.08 on Wednesday night. Volume was nearly 4 times the daily average of around 1.2 million shares traded. The company reported earnings this morning, and offered a weak full-year outlook.
Compañia de Minas Buenaventura SAA (NYSE: BVN) dropped about 1.2% on Thursday to set a new 52-week low of $5.73 after closing at $5.80 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $14.82. Share volume totaled around 1.5 million shares, about equal to the daily average of around 1.6 million. The Peru-based precious metals miner had no specific news today, but weak gold prices are a weight on the stock price.
