September 4, 2015: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 169 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Just a reminder: U.S. markets are closed Monday, September 7, for the Labor Day observance.

Barrick Gold Corp. (NYSE: ABX) dropped about 3.9% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $6.23 against a 52-week high of $17.87. The stock closed at $6.48 on Thursday night. Volume is roughly 30% below the daily average of around 19 million shares traded. Gold futures settled down 0.3% for the day and 1.1% for the week at its lowest level in more than 2 weeks.

Itaú Unibanco Holding SA (NYSE: ITUB) dropped 6.4% on Friday to post a new 52-week low at $6.83 after closing at $7.30 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $18.19. Share volume was about 25% below the daily average of around 16 million. The Brazilian bank had no specific news today.

Vince Holding Corp. (NYSE: VNCE) posted a new 52-week low on Friday. Shares dropped about 42% to a low of $5.36 from Thursday’s closing price of $9.27. The stock’s 52-week high is $37.68. Volume totaled about 17 times the daily average of around 525,000. The apparel maker cut its profit outlook today and the stock was absolutely bludgeoned.

ArcelorMittal (NYSE: MT) dropped about 5.3% on Friday to set a new 52-week low of $7.18 after closing at $7.58 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $15.19. Share volume totaled around 6 million shares, about 25% below the daily average of around 8 million. The company had no specific news today, but, let’s face it, the steel business is not improving.
