Seagate Technology PLC (NASDAQ: STX) dropped more than 15% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low at $40.52 after closing at $47.80 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $69.40. Share volume was nearly 5 times the daily average of around 4.8 million. The company warned on third quarter earnings this morning.

The Manitowoc Company Inc. (NYSE: MTW) dropped nearly 16% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $13.86 against a high of $23.15. The stock closed at $16.36 on Wednesday night. Volume was nearly 6 times the daily average of around 2.4 million shares traded. The company reported weak preliminary third-quarter results this morning.

Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN) posted a new low on Thursday. Shares dropped about 15% to a low of $31.32 from Wednesday’s closing price of $36.96. The stock’s 52-week high is $60.19. Volume was about 7 times the daily average of around 1.4 million. The company cut full-year guidance this morning.
