American Express Co. (NYSE: AXP) dropped about 6.7% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $71.39 against a 52-week high of $94.89. The stock closed at $76.51 on Wednesday night. Volume was more than 3 times the daily average of around 6 million shares traded. The company missed earnings estimates this morning.
Envision Healthcare Holdings Inc. (NYSE: EVHC) dropped about 44% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low at $20.41 after closing at $36.49 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $45.95. Share volume was more than 15 times the daily average of around 1.5 million. The company missed earnings and revenue estimates and guided next full-year earnings lower.
PulteGroup Inc. (NYSE: PHM) posted a new low on Thursday. Shares dropped about 10% to a low of $17.52 from Wednesday’s closing price of $19.45. The stock’s 52-week high is $23.36. Volume was more than 3 times the daily average of around 5.7 million. The homebuilder missed quarterly earnings and sales estimates this morning.
