Noble Corp. plc (NYSE: NE) dropped about 2.5% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $5.30 after closing at $5.54 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $14.64. Volume was around 20% above the daily average of around 8.8 million shares. The company had no specific news, but a second consecutive drop in oil prices is hurting the services companies.

QVCA Group (NASDAQ: QVCA) lost about about 1.7% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $18.78 after closing Tuesday at $19.10. The 52-week high is $28.71. Volume of around 6.8 million was approaching double the daily average of around 3.6 million. The shopping network had no specific news.

SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR) dropped about more than 14% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $7.61 against a 52-week high of $31.10. Volume of around 8.3 million was about 3 times the daily average of 2.7 million shares traded. The stock closed at $8.87 on Tuesday night. The solar module manufacturer had no specific news.

First Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR) dropped about 5.3% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $34.50 against a 52-week high of $74.29. Volume of around 4.3 million was about 30% above the daily average of around 3 million. The stock closed at $36.42 on Tuesday night. Another solar energy company posting a solid drop on no specific news.
