Endologix, Unilever Enter Wednesday's 52-Week Low Club

November 16, 2016: Here are four stocks trading with relatively heavy volume among 48 equities making new 52-week lows in Wednesday’s session. On the NYSE, advancers led decliners by about 8 to 7 and on the Nasdaq advancers and decliners traded about evenly.

Endologix Inc. (NASDAQ: ELGX) dropped about 37% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $6.24 against a 52-week high of $14.50. Volume of about 11 million was more than 10 times the daily average of around 1 million. The FDA is delaying approval of the company’s Nellix treatment for certain types of aortic aneurysms beyond the end of this year.

Real Goods Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: RGSE) lost nearly 3% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $0.66 after closing Tuesday at $0.68. The 52-week high is $19.40. Volume of around 6 million was more than double the daily average of around 2.5 million shares traded. The residential and commercial solar installer had no news Wednesday.

Unilever PLC (NYSE: UL) dropped about 1.8% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $38.96 after closing at $39.67 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $48.97. Volume of about 4.4 million was more than 3 times the daily average of around 1.4 million shares. The consumer products giant had no specific news.

Coty Inc. (NYSE: COTY) dropped about 1.6% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $17.97 after closing at $18.26 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $31.60. Volume was about 70% below the daily average of around 13 million shares. The cosmetics maker had no specific news on Wednesday.
