Express Inc., Coke Drop into Thursday's 52-Week Low Clubstock

December 1, 2016: Here are four stocks trading with relatively heavy volume among 87 equities making new 52-week lows in Thursday’s session. On the NYSE, decliners led advancers by about 6 to 5 and on the Nasdaq decliners led advancers by about 9to 5.

The Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO) dropped about 1.2% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $39.88 after closing at $40.35 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $47.13. Volume of about 14.5 million was less than 10% below the daily average. The company had no specific news again Thursday.

Express Inc. (NYSE: EXPR) lost about 22% Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $10.38 after closing Wednesday at $13.36. The 52-week high is $21.57. Volume of around 12 million was nearly 6 times the daily average of around 2.1 million shares traded. The company reported weakish third-quarter earnings and offered weaker guidance for the current quarter.

Fang Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: SFUN) dropped nearly 5.8% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $2.76 after closing at $2.93 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $7.52. Volume was more than double the daily average of around 4 million shares. The China-based online real-estate site report a revenue miss earlier this week and some possible regulatory challenges.

Guess? Inc. (NYSE: GES) dropped about 14.5% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $13.10 against a 52-week high of $22.84 and a Wednesday close of $15.32. Volume of about 7.5 million was about 6 times the daily average of around 1.2 million. The company reported falling earnings and weak guidance after markets closed Wednesday.
