Top 6 Earnings for the Week Ahead

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the major companies reporting their quarterly results as we begin to close out 2016. We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as some additional color on each.

Markets have been pushed to record highs in the wake of the U.S. presidential election. Although earnings season is over, there are a few more reports coming up this week. The question remains whether earnings can keep pushing this rally.

Keep in mind that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may reschedule reporting dates as well.

AutoZone Inc. (NYSE: AZO) is set to report its most recent results on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $9.31 and $2.49 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $783.74 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $857.00, and the 52-week trading range is $681.01 to $819.54.

Conn’s Inc. (NASDAQ: CONN) is scheduled to report its fiscal third-quarter results on Tuesday. The consensus estimates are a net loss of $0.19 per share and $393.83 million in revenue. Shares were last seen at $10.80 on Friday. The consensus price target is $12.88, and the 52-week range is $6.54 to $27.53.

H&R Block Inc. (NYSE: HRB) is expected to share its latest quarterly earnings on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for a net loss of $0.68 per share on $126.93 million in revenue. Shares closed trading at $21.72 on Friday, in a 52-week range of $19.18 to $37.35. The consensus price target is $25.22.

Costco Wholesale Corp. (NASDAQ: COST) is set to reveal its fiscal first-quarter results on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $1.20 in EPS but $28.29 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $152.09 on Friday. The consensus price target is $169.12. The 52-week range is $138.57 to $169.73.

Lululemon Athletica Inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Wednesday as well. The consensus estimates call for $0.43 in EPS and $540.67 million in revenue. Shares ended the week at $55.33, in a 52-week range of $44.62 to $81.81. The consensus price target is $68.00.

Ciena Corp. (NYSE: CIEN) is scheduled to report its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Thursday. The consensus analyst estimates call for $0.47 in EPS and revenue of $707.46 million. Shares traded on Friday’s close at $20.45. The consensus price target is $26.69. The 52-week range is $15.62 to $25.22.
