7 Key Earnings Coming This Week

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the major companies scheduled to share their quarterly results in the coming days, as we are in the heart of the fourth-quarter earnings reporting season. Markets retreated from record highs, and now we have the chance to see if we can reach them again.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history.

Keep in mind that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may reschedule reporting dates as well.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (NYSE: BABA) is set to report its most recent results on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for $1.13 in earnings per share (EPS) and $7.32 billion in revenue for the quarter. Shares were changing hands at $96.06 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $119.72, and the 52-week trading range is $59.25 to $109.87.

On Wednesday, AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) is expected to reveal its fourth-quarter results. The consensus estimates are $0.66 in EPS and $42.03 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $41.45 on Friday. The consensus price target is $41.50. The 52-week range is $34.70 to $43.89.

The latest quarterly earnings from Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) are due on Wednesday. The fiscal first-quarter consensus forecast calls for $1.18 in EPS and $6.12 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $62.88 on Friday’s close, in a 52-week range of $42.24 to $71.62. The consensus price target is $73.63.

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is scheduled to report its fourth-quarter results on Thursday. The consensus analyst estimates are $9.64 in EPS and revenue of $25.18 billion. Shares ended last week at $828.17. The consensus price target is $965.81. The 52-week range is $672.66 to $839.00.

Also on Thursday, Baker Hughes Inc. (NYSE: BHI) is reporting most recent results. The consensus estimates call for a net loss of $0.11 in the fourth quarter, along with revenue of $2.37 billion. Shares were changing hands at $61.98 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $69.14, and the 52-week range is $38.16 to $68.59.

Watch for Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ: SBUX) report its most recent results on Thursday as well. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for $0.52 in EPS and $5.85 billion in revenue for the fourth quarter. Shares closed trading at $57.66 on Friday. The consensus price target is $64.73, and the 52-week range is $50.84 to $61.79.

And AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV) is scheduled to report its fourth-quarter results on Friday. The consensus analyst forecast is $1.19 in EPS and revenue of $6.91 billion. Shares ended last week at $61.15. The consensus price target is $69.94. The 52-week range is $51.60 to $68.12.
