The Dow, Nasdaq and S&P 500 have each hit new highs this week, with potentially more to come. Overall the earnings reported over the past month have helped to solidify these markets. 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the most anticipated quarterly earnings reports that are on deck for Thursday.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as some additional color on each.

Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ALXN) will share its most recent quarterly results before the markets open. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of 1.25 and $836.6 million in revenue. Shares were trading at $130.86 on Wednesday, in a 52-week range of $109.12 to $162.00. The stock has a consensus analyst price target of $167.93.

The latest quarterly earnings from Duke Energy Corp. (NYSE: DUK) are expected early on Thursday as well. The consensus estimates call for $0.81 in EPS and $5.89 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $76.53, in a 52-week range of $72.34 to $87.75. The consensus price target is $79.78.

Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. (NASDAQ: MPEL) is set to report its fourth-quarter results. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.13 and $1.16 billion in revenue. Shares were last changing hands at $17.75. The consensus price target is $20.04, and the 52-week range is $12.86 to $20.00.

MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) also is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter financial results before the markets open. The consensus estimates are $0.20 in EPS on $2.46 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $29.35, with a consensus price target of $34.72 and a 52-week trading range of $17.34 to $30.62.

Fourth-quarter results from Waste Management, Inc. (NYSE: WM) also are scheduled for Thursday morning. The consensus EPS estimate is $0.77, on $3.42 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $71.14. The consensus price target is $73.60. The 52-week trading range is $54.34 to $71.78.
