6 Key Earnings to Look for Wednesday

[cnxvideo id=”655402″ placement=”ros”]The most recent earnings season is coming to a close, and the broad markets are pushing even higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq and S&P 500 hitting new highs within the past week. The Dow specifically is up about 4% since the inauguration and has been closing higher for the past eight days. Overall the earnings reported over the past month have helped to solidify these markets. 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the most anticipated quarterly earnings reports that are on deck for Wednesday.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as some additional color on each.

Fitbit Inc. (NYSE: FIT) will share its most recent quarterly results after the markets close. The consensus estimates call for a net loss of $0.50 and $576.04 million in revenue. Shares were trading at $6.06 on Tuesday, in a 52-week range of $5.62 to $18.85. The stock has a consensus analyst price target of $8.00.

HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ) also is scheduled to release its fiscal first-quarter financial results after the markets close. The consensus estimates are $0.37 in earnings per share (EPS) on $11.83 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $16.00, with a consensus price target of $16.11 and a 52-week trading range of $9.95 to $16.41.

The latest quarterly earnings from L Brands Inc. (NYSE: LB) also are expected late on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $1.90 in EPS and $4.51 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $57.89, in a 52-week range of $56.01 to $88.77.

Mobileye N.V. (NYSE: MBLY) is set to report its fourth-quarter results. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.20 and $96.4 million in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $46.11 on Tuesday. The consensus price target is $55.50, and the 52-week range is $24.75 to $51.15.

Fourth-quarter results from Square Inc. (NYSE: SQ) also are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. The consensus estimate is a net loss of $0.09 per share, on $450.85 million in revenue. Shares were last seen at $14.63. The consensus price target is $15.20. The 52-week trading range is $8.42 to $15.91.

And Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter financial results after the markets close on Wednesday. Analysts expect a net loss of $0.43 per share on $2.19 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $277.52, with a consensus price target of $248.73 and a 52-week range of $167.84 to $287.39.
