The broad markets hit new highs last week, even though the fourth-quarter earnings reporting season is all but over. A few stragglers are still lining up to report this week. Most of the major companies reporting are retailers, and we have created a separate preview for those companies. Here, 24/7 Wall St. has put together some of the other major companies reporting their quarterly results this week, most being tech companies, with a couple of exceptions.
We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as added some additional color on each.
Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies change earnings dates as well.
Before the markets open Tuesday, 3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) will share its most recent quarterly results. The consensus estimates call for $0.13 in earnings per share (EPS) and $176.76 million in revenue. Shares closed trading at $16.49 on Friday, in a 52-week range of $9.83 to $19.75. The stock has a consensus analyst price target of $15.64.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (NYSE: VRX) also is scheduled to release its quarterly financial results early on Tuesday as well. The consensus estimates are $1.22 in EPS on $2.34 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $16.18, with a consensus price target of $22.39 and a 52-week trading range of $13.00 to $86.50.
The latest quarterly earnings from Ambarella Inc. (NASDAQ: AMBA) are expected late on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $0.74 in EPS and $86.07 million in revenue. Shares closed trading at $58.73 on Friday, in a 52-week range of $35.26 to $74.95. The consensus analyst target is $69.78.
Palo Alto Networks Inc. (NYSE: PANW) is set to report its fiscal second-quarter results. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.62 and $429.63 million in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $153.01 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $172.09, and the 52-week range is $114.64 to $165.69.
Fiscal fourth-quarter results from Salesforce.com Inc. (NYSE: CRM) also are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. The consensus estimate is $0.25 in EPS, on $2.28 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $81.78. The consensus price target is $94.16. The 52-week trading range is $66.43 to $84.48.
And Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE: SHAK) is scheduled to release its fourth-quarter financial results after the markets close on Wednesday. Analysts expect $0.09 in EPS on $70.68 million in revenue. Shares ended the week at $35.92, with a consensus price target of $39.50 and a 52-week range of $30.90 to $43.99.
