BRF SA (NYSE: BRFS) posted a new 52-week low of $11.77 on Friday, down about 15.5% compared with Thursday’s closing price of $12.80. The stock’s 52-week high is $18.12. Volume was more than 4 times the daily average of around 1.6 million shares. The Brazil-based pork and poultry producer was raided by police investigating allegations of bribery of food inspectors and politicians.
Rubicon Project Inc. (NYSE: RUBI) dropped about 1.9% Friday, to post a new 52-week low of $5.65 after closing at $5.76 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $20.37. Volume was nearly 4 times the daily average of around 740,000 shares. The company had no specific news.
Nordic American Offshore Ltd. (NYSE: NAO) dropped about 2.8% Friday, to post a new 52-week low of $1.05 after closing at $1.08 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $5.69. Volume was about 4 times the daily average of around 490,000 shares. The company had no specific news.
BioAmber Inc. (NYSE: BIOA) dropped nearly 29% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $2.24 after closing Thursday at $3.14. Volume of more than 1.5 million shares was about 6 times the daily average of around 240,000. The company’s annual report, filed on Thursday with its quarterly results, included a “going concern” statement from the company’s independent auditing firm.
