7 Key Earnings Expected This Coming Week

Both the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 have pulled back from their highs over the past month, and it seems that they have settled down ahead of earnings season. 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the top companies reporting their latest results on in the coming week. Keep in mind that a vast majority of companies are set to report their earnings in the next few weeks and set a direction for the market.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as added some additional color on each.

Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) is set to report its first-quarter results on Monday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $0.37 and $2.64 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $142.92 ahead of the Good Friday market holiday. The consensus price target is $151.38, and the 52-week trading range is $84.50 to $148.29.

United Continental Holdings Inc.’s (NYSE: UAL) latest quarterly earnings report is expected on Monday. The consensus estimates are $0.34 in EPS and $8.35 billion in revenue. Shares were trading most recently at $69.07, in a 52-week range of $37.41 to $76.80. The consensus price target is $83.31.

eBay Inc.’s (NASDAQ: EBAY) first-quarter results are scheduled for Wednesday. The consensus earnings estimate is $0.48 per share, on $2.21 billion in revenue. The shares were last seen at $34.33. The consensus price target is $34.86, and the 52-week trading range is $22.30 to $34.74.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) is set to release its most recent quarterly results Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $0.88 in EPS, as well as $9.29 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $40.69. The consensus price target is $47.32, and the 52-week range is $23.11 to $47.33.

Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ: QCOM) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results on Wednesday as well. The consensus estimates call for $1.20 in EPS and $5.91 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $52.79 on Thursday, in a 52-week range of $50.11 to $71.62. The consensus price target is $64.74.

Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB) first-quarter results are scheduled for Friday. The consensus forecast is $0.26 in EPS on $7.02 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $78.15. The consensus price target is $96.56. The 52-week trading range is $72.00 to $87.84.

Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE: HON) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Friday as Well. The consensus estimates are $1.62 in EPS and $9.32 billion in revenue. Shares were trading most recently at $122.50, in a 52-week range of $105.25 to $127.52. The consensus price target is $134.32.
